| Need insurance for new business? I have started a new business with my partner. We produce plays (like murder mysteries) for restaurants and other special event venues. We just write and act in the plays, we don't provide the food, servers, alcohol, or anything else (most of these are "dinner theater" type plays). I know we need general liability insurance, plus casualty/theft stuff (we have some sound equipment), but what other types of insurance might we need, and in what amounts? How much should this cost us? |

| You got a very good business and I think it will be helpful to apply for insurance which will benefit your business as well as your clients. In certain events there are some risks that you might encounter so it will be helpful if you have insurance. I had my own small business and I benefit a lot of the insurance I got from the insurance company. Great day. |
| I am planning to go on a new business and it will be my first time to do it and I am planning to have this work insured. I am really not that familiar on the things that I will be doing in that area but it is clear to me that it is important in the business. Any comments on that matter? | I should say that this greatly depends upon which country you are in? or which state? Some areas provide a general entertainers insurance which covers all of that which freelancing entertainers, musicians, children party professionals get, and it covers all of these types of things from choking, to damaged property of the venue, etc... Shop around a bit before you get your insurance however, as because it is not an ordinary insurance plan, you may want to be careful of scammers. |
| There are new businesses today which are thriving fast and a lot of people are more interested to embark on it. I presume that it is more advantageous if the business is enrolled to insurance because you can provide protection to the business whenever there are issues encountered that might affect the growth of it. I am pleased that my business is doing well with the cooperation of my employees. |

They're are so many people that start up new businesses and don't have the success they thought would be or encounter something unexpected. Insurance in anything u do is a must. |
